EFFECTIVE TEACHING ACADEMY

The Effective Teaching Academy (ETA) is an evidence-based model for building capacity in best practices among novice and seasoned professionals.  Using interactive and customized instructional and operational models for the best practices in teaching and instructional leadership, the Effective Teaching Academy can be implemented over a wide range of schedules, depending upon the needs of the school system.  Our approach includes modes of delivery such as mentoring circles and clinical observations.

Members of the Consultants Team at Professional Development Services, LLC (PDS) execute the Effective Teaching Academy through structured experiences.  These professionals represent over 250 years of professional practice in a wide range of positions, including board-certified teaching; instructional leadership; executive management; classroom improvement specialist; program/educational specialist in the four content areas and special education; professional development coordinator; intern advisor; building administrator, central office administrator; and assistant superintendent.
